The Better Battery

03.09.11 The Better Bass Battery

You got the amps, the subs, the cable, but what about the battery?betterbattery

After looking into the market, we decided we had to make the Better Bass Battery. Only one thing was important, to make the name count, so it just had to be better. Everything that could be upgraded was taken into account. So larger terminals, better copper & added cable connections all became standard features of this battery, the Better Battery that is.

Quota - Compact power

01.09.11 Quota is here

quotaPack 1200* watts in a footprint smaller than 10" x 8.6" & you are introduced to the Quota.

This amplifier will do its job powering any of our subs with satisfaction to the main, but with the limited size, why not go for 2 Quota on a CC or XC series?

20% more strands

30.08.11 STOC-0 upgrade

stoc cableThe already flexible STOC powercable is now even better.

Since current flows on the outer side of the conductors, a larger wire count will lead to a better cable even if the OD of the cable is the same.

This new version of STOC has >20% more cable strands & now comes in 18 m spools instead of 15 m. A side benefit is that the cable is even more flexible now.

B² audio Russia

29.08.11 First places x 2 in Russia

In 2011 the first products came to Russia. We had little knowledge about the market, so the Russian distributor took matters into his own hands. With hard work & determination he made
B² audio known in RASCA (Russian Iasca). Besides competing, B² audio Russia became a main sponsor. Taking not 1, but 2 first places at the finals & with good margin to the runner up sure made it all worth it. Look out for Russia in 2012! Swedish Champion in Street 100a

22.08.11 Fredrik "Frippe" Lindberg vs 100A

The Swedes got their own way, so they came up with a nearly unlimited class for anyone to compete in. Main rule is music & the system has to be fused at 100A. With nearly no effort at all Frippe took the challenge installed his 2 x HD12 MKII subs hooked up to his M1s amplifier & did a record breaking 150 dB. Yes, keep in mind this is in a Saab 9-3 & amplifier power is limited by a 100A fuse.

World Finals - World records

21.03.11 New World Record again

nwrprofile

Someone said loud?

Some questioned, some believed, but Electric Team proved once again in front of Certified World Finals judges that there is no doubt, they are in a league of their own. Setting a World Record with a margin of 1.1 dB isn't just good, it's outstanding.

Remembering last years finals where it only differed with 0.1 dB, the certified score 165.8 dB will be known as a new standard. The reward was of course awarding, European Champions in Street Max class & World Record holders once again!

Electric Team Donato & Max proves that hard work, dedication, best manufacturer support & unique products from B² audio will take competitions to a whole new level.

teamdbm Getting a Panda loud to a frequency isn't new, but using it for Bass Race is a totally different thing.

Team dBM, 2 crazy guys  from  Greece &  also the importers of B² audio, decided to  make a loud music  Panda. Hitting 149.9  dB to music isn't easy  for many louder car  audio systems, but for Evangelos & Marios,  this is just another daily routine.

With the steady hands & unique control of  Team dBM, the bass provided by the M1  amplifier easily pounds 149,9 dB.
In fact, they easily took the title as uropean Champions & advanced to the World Finals. Watching the final video from World Finals, it was clear that the title was within sight, but sometimes the Gods shows us the difference of a split second.

New World Record in SM

electricteam vidWith the introduction of the 30" clearance rule in 2010, it seriously harmed competitors.

A drop of up to 1.2 dB wasn't odd, actually it was more like the common rule. Apart from that subwoofers in a walled configuration were prone to suffer severe damages. But there is no rule without an exception.

ElectricTeam, already known for the loudest SM score (166,1 dB) in the 2010 season prior to the 30" rule, changed their set-up.                                                                                       view video by cliking the picture

The old subs were replaced with the B² CC18" powered by the same M1 amplifiers.
After some tweaking & tuning, the first run at the 3x dB drag competiton in Padova, Italy
(Oct 30th 2010) took the Termlab to new heights. 165.6 dB was enough to make it a new world record, superseeding the old world record by 2.1 dB, a large acheivement in itself.

But why stop there? A new month a new score was Electric Team Donatos intentions.
So at the dB drag day held the 1st of November, the ante was upped.
166 dB in the qualification run was amazing to some & unbelievable to others.
So the judge made sure to check the car to avoid any further misunderstandings.

Electric Team went to the finals & decided to "turn it up", impressing the crowd with a 166.2 dB run!
